The Minister of Police Nathi Mthethwa has urged South Africans to contribute and share views and suggestions around the policy formation process.

The Green Paper on Policing sets out broad policy thrust for the South African Police Service over the medium to long-term.

Minister Mthethwa said the policy positions the police service to adapt and respond to a constantly evolving crime landscape.

Ministerial Spokesperson Zweli Mnisi said this is going to inform future Policing whether in partnership or functional SAPS.
