The Minister of Trade and Industry, Dr Rob Davies, will address the media on the United States - South Africa trade relations ahead of President Barrack Obama’s visit this week.

Spokesperson Sidwell Madupe said Minister Davies will highlight the importance of President Obama’s visit in relation to Trade and Investment and also portray South Africa as an investment destination of choice.

Medupe also added that the US is one of the major trading with SA, and our trade in the US has recovered to the levels of 2008, before the global financial crisis.

“Minister Davies said, our trade has been characterized by a proportion of value added products coming out of South Africa” Medupe added.
