Woman arrested for possession of drugs

A 56-year-old woman was on Sunday arrested after she was found in possession of 179 mandrax tablets, estimated at ten thousand seven hundred and forty rand.
The woman is expected to appear in the Ngwelezane Magistrate Court
KwaZulu Natal Police Spokesperson Captain Thulani Zwane said it is alleged that police were patrolling in the area when they received information that there is someone selling drugs in the area.
Zwane added that upon searching the woman the police found the drugs in her possession in Ntambanane area.
