The African Christian Democratic Party in the Western Cape has called on MEC Theuns Botha not to do a PR visit but resolve issues.

Botha has been visiting hospitals and clinics in the last few months.

ACDP Provincial Leader Ferlon Christians said government must react speedily to the needs of the day hospitals.

Christians added that they are asking MEC Theuns Botha to investigate the experience patients go to in the early hours of the mornings and turned away wasting their time.

“The biggest problem is when they get in hospitals, there are long queues and their dignities impaired,” Christians said.

“We wonder if it is not too late to act,” Christians added.
