The African National Congress in the Western Cape said that the inferior service delivery and neglect of a poor community is most glaring in the informal settlement of Wallacedene, Kraaifontein, where the DA abuse people for party political narrow gains.

Khaya Magaxa spokesman for the ANC in the province said that the DA-led Cape Town must immediately come up with plans to intervene in the flawed situation as a matter of urgency.

Magaxa said they are concerned about the lack of service delivery in townships, and the situation looking like nobody cares.

“We feel strongly that the DA has abandoned the black and coloured communities in terms of service delivery; they are only concentrated in white and middle-class areas” Magaxa added.
