Cosatu mourn the death of MEC Kolisile

The Congress of South African Trade Unions has expressed shock and sadness after learning of the tragic accident that lead to the death of Gauteng MEC for Economic Development, Nkosiphendule Kolisile; his driver and a body guard.

Cosatu sent out condolences to the families of the bereaved, their friends and colleagues.

Cosatu Spokesperson Patrick Craven said it was sad he was a product of the alliance.

“He was a shop steward at the National Union of Mineworkers, he was active in the African National Congress and the South African Communist Party.

“He was in charge of a very important portfolio in the Economy Development in the country’s heart” Craven added.
