Five die, 10 injured in accident on the N3

Five people died and ten others were injured when a minibus overturned KwaZulu Natal today.

Paramedics responded to the scene on the N3 near Heidelberg. Upon their arrival they found that of the injured no less than three were toddlers.

Netcare 911 spokesperson Santi Steinmann said that after all the injured were treated on the scene they were transported to various hospitals for further care.

“Details surrounding the cause of the accident will remain the subhect of a police investigation” Steinmann added.
