The South African Communist Party is today leading a protest march against Johannesburg Housing Company.

SACP is demanding the immediate return of the building it acquired through a liquidation process that according to court papers was riddled with alleged acts of rampant maladministration, fraud and corruption.

SACP Spokesperson Lucian Segami said that this is a gain to demand immediate return of the building infrastructure acquired through a liquidation process that was flawed, including the court processes.

Segami also said that amongst the demands that they are putting forward is an urgent land audit in Gauteng they are also requiring the development of key policies in relation to selling, buying and alienation of land.

“We also require a review of the current subsidy policy,” added Segami.
