10 year old girl dies in accident in Vanderbijlpark

ER24 Paramedics this afternoon responded to an accident whereby two young girls ages 6 and 10-years where knocked down in Vanderbijlpark. 

When paramedics arrived on the scene they found both girls laying on the road, however the 10-year-old girl died on the scene due to her extensive injuries.

ER24 Spokesperson Vanessa Jackson said that the 6 year old girl was airlifted by air 24 medical helicopter to a nearby hospital.

“She has sustained multiple broken bones and is in a critical condition,” added Jackson.

She said that at this time the driver of the BMW is not injured and local police are investigating all aspects of this case.
