An accident on the R103 near the Country Village
It is believed that a small bakkie collided
into the back of a Toyota Hilux.
When paramedics arrived on the scene they
found that the 60-year-old man was trapped in the wreckage.
ER24 Spokesperson Vanessa Jackson said when
paramedics arrived on the scene they found that the man was trapped inside the wreckage.
“It looks like due to the age of the bakkie
that it just crumpled around him, sadly resulting in him losing his life and he
was declared deceased on the scene,” added Jackson
She added that the driver of the second
bakkie fortunately suffered no physical injuries and he left the scene
privately.
