The Western Cape Education
Department has confirmed that over 59 thousand candidates have been registered
for the 2013 National Senior Certificate Examinations, which is schedule to start
in 61 days.
However in the next week thousands
of Grade 12 will sit down to write their 2013 September examinations also known
as mock exams in the province.
Ministerial Spokesperson Bronagh Casey said the Ministry and the department of education would like to wish all the learners the best of luck and also remind them that they are also responsible for their own results through hard work and preparation.
Casey further said once the exams are finished the department will be able to determine which schools need extra help in preparation for the final exams later this year.
