A body of a man found by police in Clanwilliam

Investigation into the case is still continuing.
The Western Cape Police have today
found a body in a car just off the N7 near Clanwilliam.
It has been reported that the body
could be that of Durbanville businessman Joao Rui Figueira has been found.
The man went missing on the 8th
of September. However police cannot
confirm whether the body is of Figueira.
Captain FC van Wyk said the vehicle
that belongs to the missing person has been found. There was also a body in the
vehicle.
“A post mortem will be conducted to
determine the cause of death and the identify of the body,” van Wyk added
Investigation into the case is still continuing.
