A man arrested in Woodstock with drugs

The Woodstock Police on Wednesday arrested a 23 year-old man being in possession of drugs and dagga.

Police spokesperson Hilton Malila said the arrest follows crime prevention patrols in Albert road, when members spotted a suspicious looking man on an open field next to Albert road.

Malila said the man was taken into custody and he will remain there until he appears in court.

He also said the streets value of the drugs confiscated is estimated at R 15 000, the drugs included tik, dagga and mandrax.
