A man died on the R33 truck crash in Pietemaritzburg

Paramedics rushed to an accident scene in Pietemaritzburg this morning, whereby the driver of the truck appears to have lost control of the vehicle and it rolled down a steep embankment.
Two men were crushed in the cabin of the truck when it rolled down and landed in its roof.

“It is not clear what caused the accident but police are on the scene and they will be investigating,” Jackson said.

The driver had already sustained
injuries sadly he died on scene.

Jackson They managed to gain access to the passenger
of the truck and while they provided him with medical care, the Fire Department
used the Jaws of Life to remove him from the wreckage.
“It is not clear what caused the accident but police are on the scene and they will be investigating,” Jackson said.
