An accident claimed two lives and left six injured in Durban

Two people died and six others were left seriously injured when a bakkie overturned on N2 near the Tugela Bridge on the North Coast in Durban.

The accident occurred this morning. The exact details to the cause of the accident are not known at this stage.

Netcare Limited Spokesperson Chris Botha said when they arrived on the scene they found two people had died due to severe injuries they had sustained.

Botha added that paramedics stabilized the injured on scene before they transported them to an area hospital in Stanger for the care that they required.
