ACDP Provincial Leader Ferlon Christians
said it’s not good enough for the City to leave all the outreach work to its
social partners.
Christians urged businesses and individuals
that are willing and prepared to give to the needy not to give directly to the
person but organisations that work with homeless people.
He further said it has been seen that it is
not a working policy to give directly to the people and people should start
giving to the City’s Give Responsibly programme.
