The Democratic Alliance today said the National Youth Development Agency 2012/13 annual report tabled in Parliament today reveals an organisation in complete disarray.

DA`s Joe McGluwa said despite this, the agency’s top executives awarded themselves an 18% salary increase– from R10.5 million in 2011/12 to R12.4 million in 2012/13.

He also said the NYDA’s suspended CEO in particular, Steven Ngubeni, received a 20% increase in salary from R2.032 million in 2011/12 to R2.435 million in 2012/13.

McGluwa said government is putting more and more controls into place but the NYDA can not get it right.
