The Democratic Alliance today said the National Youth Development Agency 2012/13 annual report tabled in Parliament today reveals an organisation in complete disarray.
McGluwa said government is putting more and more controls into place but the NYDA can not get it right.
The Democratic Alliance today said the National Youth Development Agency 2012/13 annual report tabled in Parliament today reveals an organisation in complete disarray.
DA`s Joe McGluwa said despite this, the
agency’s top executives awarded themselves an 18% salary increase– from R10.5
million in 2011/12 to R12.4 million in 2012/13.
He also said the NYDA’s suspended CEO in
particular, Steven Ngubeni, received a 20% increase in salary from R2.032
million in 2011/12 to R2.435 million in 2012/13.
