The Western Cape police are seeking the public’s assistance in finding suspects that shot people at a tavern in Lower Crossroad.

The incident occurred on Saturday at Abesuthu Inn in Phillipi East. It is alleged that six suspects entered the tavern and shot three people dead and several other were injured.

Police Spokesperson FC Van Wyk said the suspects forced entry at the security and they just started shooting without a word and no one has been arrested as yet and the investigation continues.

The police have urged anyone with information to come forward in finding the suspects.

Meanwhile the police are still searching for suspects that shot and killed a man in Mitchell’s Plain.

According to the police the man was shot at his home just when he had arrived after being released on parole.

FC Van Wyk said the motive for the killing is not known but the police are continuing with their investigation.
