The Western Cape Traffic Chief Kenny Africa
said these roadblocks are held to ensure that drivers adhere to the rules of
the road and to decrease the fatality rate on the road.

said there were several arrest that were made a taxi driver was arrested for
negligent driving and two drunk pedestrian and other people arrested for dagga
possession.
He added that one other driver was arrested
for work permit issues.
