Western Cape Police have confirmed that the
badly decomposed body that was discovered in July this year in Grassy Park
She went missing in June this year while playing
outside her home in Phumlani Village
Police Spokesperson Thembinkosi Kinana said
an in depth process to finally make an identification was followed and no time
was wasted to delay the identification unnecessarily.
“The body state of decomposition played a
role in what was preserved as delays in obtaining the results; unfortunately no
short cuts could be taken to speed up the process to arrive at this conclusion”
Kinana added.
Police Spokesperson Thembinkosi Kinana said
no arrests have been made at this stage, however investigation continues.
