The Food and Allied Workers Union has condemned the alleged incidents of violence and intimidation brought to the attention of its Leadership by the management of SAB.

FAWU also appealed to its Members on strike not to be part to any acts of violence and intimidation and must picket peacefully within the parameters of the law.

FAWU President Atwell Nazo said Fawu therefore distances itself to the alleged incidents of violence and intimidation.

Nazo added that whilst FAWU and its Leaders condemn these alleged acts of violence and intimidation in the strongest possible terms, it urges its members to be law abiding citizens and refuse to be associated with acts that are not in abidance with the law.
