MEC Theuns Botha opened the Knysna Town Clinic

The Western Cape MEC of Health Theuns Botha today opened the Knysna Town Clinic which will attend to about 2 000 patients per month. 

MEC Botha said in 2011 a total of 73 and in 2012 a total of 41 projects were completed in the Eden District.

Ministerial Spokesperson Helene Rossouw said this clinic counts among 114 infrastructure projects that have been completed in the Eden Districts in the past two years.

The cost of the clinic is R884 000 and will offer women and child health such as birth control and immunisations, mental health and chronic diseases management.
