Netcare 911 paramedics attended to an accident scene along
It is believed that a heavy goods truck overturned and crashed into another vehicle.
Netcare 911 Spokesperson Chris Botha
said when they arrived at the scene they that two occupants were still trapped
in the wreckage. The fireman had to use the Jaws of Life to free the man after
two hours they managed to extricate from the wreckage
“Tragically one man died on scene
due to the extensive injuries he sustained another had sustained serious
injuries he was treated and then transported to local hospital for further
care,” Botha added.
The exact details to the cause of
the accident will remain the subject of a police investigation.
