Two people arrested for being in possession of police uniforms

Two suspects were arrested by the KwaZulu Natal police this is after they were caught with police uniforms. 

Police searched premises in Mbazwana where they found a BMW vehicle with three occupants inside, they then searched the premises and the car and found the suspects in possession of a pistol with seven live rounds as well as police uniform.

Police Spokesperson Thulani Zwane said the third suspect who is a well known taxi owner managed to escape and he is still at large. 

Zwane said it is alleged that these suspects used these police uniforms to hold unofficial roadblocks in the area whereby they robbed people.
