This morning a school bus carrying 32 children traveling on the R24 overturned onto its side outside the nature reserve in Krugersdorp.

ER24 Spokesperson Vanessa Jackson said when paramedics arrived they found 33 people which included the driver and 32 children between the ages of 5 and 15-years-old.

Jackson said fortunately no one suffered very serve injures, they were all in a stable condition and then they were transported to nearby hospitals.  We had some patients who went by ambulance others by disaster risk management services and some parents arrived on the scene to collect their children to transport them privately.

It is believed that no other vehicles were involved in the accident; however the exact details of the cause of the accident will be the subject of a police investigation.
