Dudley said
the ACDP is convinced that in order to stop the cycle of abuse and bring about
change we need to strengthen and extend the reach of organisations that are
making a difference. This must be done especially in areas where people are
able to train community leaders, church leaders and people who are in contact
with people on the ground.
The African Christian Democratic
Party today said it remains concerned about shortage of facilities for abused
woman and children in South Africa .
This as Monday marked the start of
the 16 Days of Activism of No Violence against Women and Children.
ACDP MP Cheryllyn Dudley has called
on government to help create awareness where resources are available.
“Another major concern that we have
as the ACDP is that real respect for human rights is not actually possible
without respect for human life” Dudley added.
