German immigrant arrested in Johannesburg

An illegal German immigrant identified as Willi Breuer has been arrested for being in the country illegally in Johannesburg. 

Home Affairs Modiri Matthews said the man also managed to secure a meeting with President Jacob Zuma. 

Through investigation the department found that the man has been in the country illegally for a couple of years.

Mathews said the team managed to trace Breuer after months of investigations and now he is custody of the department.

He added that the department will now contact the authorities in his country in order them to make emergency travel documents.
