The Western Cape Government has
welcomed the judgment by Judge Schippers in the Oudtshoorn District Court.
Judge Schippers on Thursday
dismissed the leave to appeal of MacPherson and other Oudtshoorn Municipality
Democratic Alliance Provincial
Minister Anton Bredell said this has yet again paved the way for democracy
within this country.
"We hope that the ANC council will
adhere to the judgment now so that we can solve the issue in Oudtshoorn" Bredell added.
