MEC Carlisle to launch Buckle Up Campaign

Western Cape MEC of Transport and Public Works Robin Carlisle   will today be officially launching the Safely Home It Only Takes a Second to Save a Life campaign. 

The campaign aims to increase awareness around the need for more seat-belt compliance amongst road users in the province. 

Provincial Spokesperson Siphesihle Dube said some of their statistics show that the prevalence of death for people with in the vehicle that’s namely drivers and passengers is the highest of any class fatality on the road.
