Two children died
and three other people were hospitalised after a fire broke out at their shack
in Muizenberg this morning.
The cause of the
fire is not known at this stage and the police are investigating.
The Disaster
Management Teams are still on the scene giving assistance to victims.
Emergency Medical
Services Spokesperson Robert Daniels said when paramedics
arrived at the scene the two children had already died and the other three; one
adult and two other children were stabilized on the scene before being
transported to hospital for further care.
