A
33-year-old man was arrested by Marikana police in Wonderkop for murdering a
30-year-old man.
It is
alleged that the suspect wearing an AMCU T-shirt arrived at a tavern and after
a few drinks without any notice and no argument the suspect killed the
30-year-old man.
It is
believed that the two had an earlier altercation.
Colonel
Sabata Mokgwabone said the officers arrived at the scene and found the suspect
with his accomplice and they resisted arrest and the police had to use force to
arrest them.
Mokgwabone
added that police also found a 9mm pistol and ammunition and the suspects have
been charged with murder, attempted murder, possession of firearm and
ammunition.
