services responded to an accident at the intersection of Beyers

Steinmann upon their arrival on scene they found that two vehicles were
involved in a side-impact collision and four people were found in a critical
condition.
Steinmann said one of the injured
people has been entrapped for a prolonged period of time and services are still
racing against time, to extricate the injured person from the wreckage, to
ensure the patient is treated and rushed to hospital for the urgent medical
care required.
“The other three patients have been
removed from the vehicles and rushed to hospital for the urgent medical care
that they required” she added.
The exact detail to the cause of the
accident and preceding events are unknown and will remain the subject of a
police investigation.
