Four people were injured and one was critical after their vehicle and a taxi collided head-on along Bridal Road Kloof this morning.
Netcare 911 Spokesperson Chris Botha
said rescue officers and the paramedics arrived at the scene and found a man
with critical injuries still trapped in the Uno. While the rescue officer used
the Jaws of Life to free the injured man paramedics clambered into the vehicle
to stabilise the wounded patient.
He added that after the injured people
were stabilized on scene paramedics transported them to various hospitals for
the care that they required.
The exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain a subject for police investigation.
