KZN Police FCS Unit arrested 211 alleged rapists during 16 Days of Activism

The KwaZulu Natal Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Units over the 16 Days of Activism for no Violence against woman and children arrested 211 alleged rapists. 

Various courts sentenced the suspects with 56 convictions, and of these convictions nine life imprisonment sentences were handed down. 

Colonel Jay Naicker said the unit is happy that justice was delivered to the victims. 

Naicker added that these successes are a clear indication that the dedicated men and women from the police’s FCS unit are committed in making the province a safer place for woman and children 365 days a year.
