One man dies and six injured in an accident in Uitenhage

An accident this morning claimed the life of a man in his thirties and left five other people injured. 

It is believed the car they were travelling in lost control and rolled over resulting in several of the occupants being ejected from the vehicle. 

Netcare 911 Spokesperson Chris Botha said when paramedics arrived on the scene about six people were ejected from the wreckage as it was rolling down the road.

Botha added that one man died on the scene, four others were in a serious condition and two remain in a critical condition.  They were all stabilised on scene and then transported to hospital for the further care that they required.
