One woman died and three others missing in Cape Town beaches

 The National Sea Rescue Institute in Strandfontein and volunteer duty crew responded to a drowning incident at Strand on Sunday afternoon.

It is alleged that a 23 year old female experienced some difficulty while swimming.

NSRI Spokesperson Craig Lambinon said upon arrival they started with the search in the area.

Lambinon said when the woman was found, paramedics started with the CPR but she was declared dead on the scene.

He added that police have opened and inquest docket.

Meanwhile the search continues for three teenagers that went missing at Hawston Beach on Friday.

It is reported that the three teenagers were all from Philippi and other three that they were swimming with managed to get out of the water and went home.

 NSRI Spokesperson Craig Lambinon said the teenagers are presumed dead and the search is ongoing.
