The National Sea Rescue Institute in
Kommetjie is today continuing the search for a male teenager who has been
feared to have drowned at Kommetjie Beach
The teenager is 13-years-old and
resides in Ocean View.
NSRI Spokesperson Craig Lambinon
said it is believed while he was swimming he was caught in a rip current and
disappeared under water; his family was on the beach with him at the time.
Lambinon said by late last night the
teenager had not been found and police have opened an investigation into the
incident.
