This is after her 18-month-old son
burnt to death in a fire in Phumlani Village
It has been reported that the
18-month-old boy was blind.
Captain FC van Wyk said the arrest
follows the discovery of the body of the baby in a shack after it caught
fire. It is believed the mother of the
child was at home at the time of the fatal incident.
Van Wyk said the cause of the fire
that led to the death of the child is being investigated and the mother is
still in custody.
