A man in his fifties is in a serious
condition after falling from the Richard’s Bay Waterfront Quayside into the
water this afternoon.
Netcare 911 Spokesperson Chris Botha said paramedics arrived at the scene and found that bystanders had pulled the man from the water.
Botha said after the paramedic had stabilised
the patient they transported him to a local hospital for the further care that he
required.
Details leading up to the incident
will remain a subject for police investigation.
