Cosatu calls for harshest sentence for people who attempted to kill one of its members

Congress of South African Trade Union in Limpopo said it is shocked at an attempt on the life of Tolly Mashamaite was made.

Mashamaite is the newly elected ANC Waterberg Regional Secretary. 

Cosatu Provincial Secretary Dan Sibabi said they believe this was politically motivated and therefore they treat this matter very seriously. 

“I’m calling on the Law Enforncement agencies to resolve the matter as urgency and to ensure that the investigation leads to a succesful prosecution and that the culprit receives the hasherst possible  sentence.” Sibabi added
