Four people arrested for attempted murder

Four men were on Tuesday arrested for
attempted murder in Elandslaagte this is after a shooting occurred along Collins Pass Road
Police Spokesperson Captain Thulani Zwane
said it is alleged that four suspects jammed the truck while he was driving
along the road and tried to hijack and rob a bakery truck by shooting at him.
Police were alerted and when the members
started to trace the suspects, they saw the suspects who were driving a BMW and
a Mercedes Benz and searched them. One firearm 9mm revolver was found.
“Four suspects were arrested and charged
for possession of unlicensed firearm as well as attempted murder.” Zwane
added.
