MOD centres across the Western Cape improving

Western Cape MEC of Cultural Affairs and Sport Dr Ivan Meyer visited a few schools in Rockland’s as part of the Mass participation, Opportunity and access Development and growth. 

The MOD programme has grown to 181 centers across the province since it started in 2010.  MEC Meyer said the performances of MOD centers are constantly being evaluated to keep improving the service.

Meyer said the MOD centers were introduced to opportunities for the youth after school, the programmes allow children to be in school from 8am until 6pm.

He added that learners can come at any time to do their homework’s or any other school work in those centres.
