21-year-old arrested for robbing two students

A 21-year-old man was on Tuesday arrested this is after he and three other suspects robbed two female students at knife point at Lions Head on Monday night. 

Captain FC van Wyk said the students were robbed of their cellphones, camera and cash. 

Van Wyk said Cape Town police with the help of Table Mountain Park National Park Rangers followed up on information with the description of the suspect.  The suspect was arrested on Tuesday evening but none of the stolen goods were recovered. 

“The suspect was handed to Cape Town central police and detained at Campus Bay Police Station and will remain in custody until Friday where he will appear in the Cape Town Magistrate Court” Van Wyk added.
