An accident in KZN leaves 15 people injured

ER24 paramedics this morning attended to an accident whereby 15 commuters were injured when the taxi they were travelling in overturned several times on the M3 in KwaZulu Natal. 

The 15 commuter’s sustained injuries ranging from minor to serious. 

ER24 Spokesperson Luyanda Majija said some people sustained spinal injuries while others had soft tissue injuries.  One patient had sustained serious injuries and he had to be airlifted to hospital.

Majija said the remaining patients were transported to various hospitals in the area.
