The Democratic Alliance has appealed to Eskom to hand over Medupi Contracts.

DA MP of Public Enterprise Natasha Michael said the power crisis should not be unexpected as it is the consequence of the Medupi projects which has been delayed three times and is significantly over budget.

Michael said it is completely clear that there is a serious problem with the power supply and they should come forward and give explanations.

Michael added that power supply is dangerous for the country.
