Police in
KwaZulu Natal are searching for two suspects who attacked police officers at
KwaMashu Hostel on Thursday.
Police
came under attack when they confronted the three suspects who stole a car at
the hostel.
During
confrontation with police one suspect was shot dead.
Police
Spokesperson Colonel Jay Naicker said it is alleged that the suspects opened
fire on the police and the police returned fire and suspect was fatally
wounded.
He added
that his two accomplices managed flee during the shootout and a 9mm pistol was
found on the suspect.
