Three suspects arrested for murdering a 70 year-old man in KZN

Three suspects aged between 19 and 20-years-old were arrested by the Greytown police after they were caught on a murder scene, and the fourth suspect escaped. 

The suspects attacked a 70-year-old man in his house on Tuesday evening.   

Captain Thulani Zwane said it is alleged that the suspects demanded keys for his house and one suspect in the house allegendly stabbed him several times with a knife.

“The members of the house who suspected that there was something going on at the victim’s house, reported the matter to the police.

Police immediately attended to the scene, on their arrival they arrested the suspects in the act. The victim was already dead by the time the police arrived on the scene.” Zwane added.

He conclude by saying that a case of murder as well as house robbery has been opened at Grytown police station.
