A man shot dead in a gang-related incident in Dleft

A 50-year-old man died on Thursday night after he was shot dead in a suspected gang-related incident in Delft. 

Western Cape police said the man was shot several times in the chest and he died on the scene. 

Police Spokesperson Andre Traut said the circumstances surrounding his death are being investigated. 

Traut said the suspects fled the scene after the shooting and is yet to be arrested.  The motive for the killing is unknown at this stage.
