KZN police searching for a one day-old baby

The KwaZulu-Natal Police are searching for a missing one day old baby girl who was allegedly taken at a taxi rank in Umzinto. 

Police Spokesperson Captain Thulani Zwane said the child was taken by an unknown woman. 

KwaZulu Natal police have urged parents to not give their children to strangers. 

Zwane said it is alleged the mother of the baby went to the shop to buy airtime leaving the baby with another woman and when she came out of the shop the woman had disappeared with the baby.

Zwane has urged any one with information that may assist police to come forward.
