New flight route between Plettenberg Bay and Cape Town launched

Western Cape government on Friday launched new flights between Plettenberg Bay and Cape Town. 

MEC of Finance, Economic Development and Tourism Alan Winde said Plettenberg Bay is a popular holiday destination, and its nearest airport is George Airport which most of the time poses an inconvenience for some travellers. 

Ministerial Spokesperson Bronwynne Jooste according to the organisesrs market research show there was a need for routes between Plettenberg Bay and Cape Town.

She added that is it good for tourism because it always benefits both destination.
